يتحدثُ الناسُ كثيراً عن أن العالمَ كان أفضل قبل 50 أو 60 عاماً، حَيث المجتمع أكثر تماسكاً وتعاوناً داخل الدولة التي لا تعاني الكثير من الأزمات، باقي الدول كانت أكثر استقراراً وأمناً، الأحداث السياسية والاقتصادية وغيرها لم تكن عَنيفة كما هي اليوم، إن هذا المفهوم يَحمل خطأً كبيراً؛ لأن العالم في صِراع دائم ومُستمر، والأحداث العنيفة ما زالت تقع باستمرار، لكن تحت مُسميات وأساليب مُختلفة. إن تحول العالم اليوم إلى أسوأ من قبل هو بسبب ظهور الإعلام الحديث وتأثيره في رسم صورة جديدة عن العالم، فالإعلام الفضائي والإنترنت وشبكات التواصل الاجتماعي، هذه العناصر الثلاثة جعلت كما يُقال دائماً “العالم قرية صغيرة” أبعد الأحداث صارت تُنقل مُباشرة بالصوت والصورة وحتى الرأي العام حولها والنتائج المترتبة ما بعدها، كذلك نشرت هذه الوسائل المعرفة والإدراك لدى الجميع، فلم يعد هناك من لا يعرف، فمجرد كتابة أي مَوضوع في الإنترنت سَيظهر كم هائل من المعلومات التاريخية والحالية والتوقعات المستقبلية لأي قضية، أيضاً وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي وفرت للجميع حَق التعبير عن الرأي والرد والنقاش في أي قضية.. هذه الوسائل الثلاث أعطت للفرد حَجماً كبيراً وأدوات واسعة، يَستطيع أن يَصل بها إلى أقاصي الأرض ويؤثر في كل شرائح المُجتمع، بالتالي أصبح المزارع والتاجر والمحامي وغيرهم يَشتركون بإبداء الرأي، وللتركيز على كل وسيلة نبدأ بالإعلام التلفزيوني الفضائي، ففي السابق كان الإعلام بَسيط مَحدود القدرة والتأثير يَعكس عَقلية الحكومة، وظيفته تعزيز الرأي العام السائد وصناعة رأي عام يَخدم مَصالح الدولة، وكان الناس هُم مَن يَذهبون للإعلام لمعرفة ما يجري. أما الإعلام الفضائي الحالي فقد أصبح هو من يذهب اليهم ويَدخل بيوتهم وعقولهم، ويَصنع الرأي العام نحو القضايا التي يختارها الإعلام بحسب توجهاتهِ، حتى لو كانت بعيدة عن اهتمام الناس أو بعيدة جُغرافياً، وصار يَخلق التأثير ويَجذبهم للتفاعل، حتى أن أخبار العالم أصبحت مُهمة للجميع بقدر أهمية الأخبار المحلية، في السابق كان الانقلاب والمواجهات والسرقات داخل الدولة يُكشف عنها أو يتم التستر عليها من قبل الحكومة، حالياً هذه الأحداث تُنقل لحظة بلحظة، ومِثال عليهِ الانقلاب في تركيا، لم يكن لتعرف تفاصيلة لو حدث قبل 40 عاماً، أما اليوم فشاهدناها وتأثرنا بها، وبنينا رأياً تجاهها، الإنترنت. سابقاً كان المثقفون يَرتادونَ المكتبات لجمع المعلومات أو لإضافة مَعلومات جَديدة، وإذا تحدثوا استمع لهم الكثيرون، لأن الوصول إلى المعلومات صعب جداً، وقد يأخذ أشهراً وسنوات للوصول لها، لكن بعد ظهور الإنترنت، صارت المعلومات سهلة الوصول، وتظهر بأشكال تُساعد على الفهم والحفظ في كل وقت ومَكان، وتحولت إلى إنفوغراف أي صور غنية وكلمات قليلة تَجعل من الفهم والحفظ عَملية مُمتعة، بالتالي تحول الجَميع إلى مُثقفين ولهم القدرة على النقاش وإبداء آرائهم، لذلك صار الجدال والنقاش في المجتمع عن كل شيء في الحياة، وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي. في الماضي لم يكن النقد مَسموعاً ومَرئياً، فأقصى ما يمكن فعله هو انتقاد بصوت مُنخفض في المقهى أو البيت مع الأقارب والأصدقاء خوفاً من الرقيب، وكان الاعتقاد أن الجميع مُوافق على قرار أو قضية، اليوم أصبح مكان الانتقاد دون خَوف من الرقيب، فظهرت أصوات لم تكن تُسمع وكلمات لم تكن تُقال، صور وفيديوهات تُنشر لحظة بلحظة دون تكاليف، هذه وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي بدأت تَصنع رأياً عاماً مُؤثراً وفاعلاً، والثورات العربية كانت خير دليل على ذلك.. إذاً السؤال هنا هل كان العالم أفضل في السابق، أم إننا لم نكن نعرف بما كان يَجري في داخل الدولة وحول العالم؟ هل الإعلام والإنترنت ووسائل التواصل الاجتماعي جَعلت العالم أسوأ لأنها تنقل كل الأحداث والمعلومات؟ إذاً العالم هو نفسه في السابق وحالياً، ولكننا لم نكن نَعلم ذلك بسبب الإعلام.
