Sectarian religious ideology is spreading among some Iraqis now, as its seeds began after 2003, and continued to grow supported by external parties and politicians with the promotion of inciting and supporting channels. After more than a decade, its impact has become significant, as we see Iraqi society today torn apart, divided and closed, and the government is unable to build the state and establish laws outside this sectarian ideology, so will this situation continue? And for how long will sectarianism prevail in the situation? Historically, ideologies similar to sectarianism have ended, because they failed to form a government, build a state, and preserve the people's faith in it. Here, we can ask two questions: How long will this religious ideology that gave birth to sectarianism last? How will this ideology end? To find the answer, we have to compare with the past, where many ideologies spread. The last of these was communism, which was born out of Marxism, and this ideology was adopted by many countries as a doctrine, as it was born in the Soviet Union, and worked with it in East Germany and Romania. The peoples of these countries believed that communism was salvation and the basis of good governance, and it became a broad popular base from which the government was born, as its duty was to build the state and formulate laws and regulations, within the communist ideology, in order to prove its success on the ground. Decades later, these countries collapsed, their laws abolished, and the popular base lost, as socialism ended due to its failure to build the state and formulate laws and regulations that serve its people. In the Soviet Union, the age of communism continued for 74 years, since the Bolshevik revolution in October 1917. Lenin led to 1991, when the Soviet Union collapsed by itself, and in Germany 40 years after it received sovereignty from the Soviets on October 7, 1949 to 1989, when the wall of socialism collapsed, and in Romania it lasted 25 years, from the adoption of socialism in 1964, to the rise of The bloody revolution of 1989. In comparison, with the present of Iraq, the sectarian ideology supported now is 13 years old, and many Iraqis oppose it. Despite the constant incitement and support from some politicians and some channels, it will end, just like socialism, because it continues to fail in building the state and formulating laws. This was the answer to the first question. As for the answer to the second question: The end of the religious ideology represented by sectarianism, and those who support it, will be similar to the ends in the socialist countries. The Soviet Union was the collapse from within, where the socialist legislators lost their faith in their ruling party, their leaders and their ideology, and they collapsed on their own. After the constant failure of the rulers, he dropped the separation fence from the world, and the formal government fell after it. In Romania, the start of the revolution was against the socialist system, where the ruler and his men were killed to get rid of them forever. A peaceful revolution may end the sectarian separation fence with a bloody revolution that will get rid of the men and supporters of sectarianism forever, after the sectarian people lose their faith in their ruling party, their leaders and their ideology.
